Build a Player
Ten spins, ten body zones, one Frankenstein superstar. Every trait comes from a real legend — Ovechkin's shot, McDavid's speed — and when the build is done, the sim runs his season and AI poster art immortalizes him.
The family
- 🏒 NHL ForwardTen traits from shot to toughness, then an 84-game season sim.
- 🛡️ NHL DefensemanFirst pass, shot blocking, the blue-line toolkit.
- 🥅 NHL GoalieReflexes, glove, post-to-post — build a wall.
- 🏈 NFL QuarterbackArm, wheels and brain — then a 17-game season.
- 🏈 NFL Running BackPower, vision and burst — chase Dickerson’s 2,105.
- 🏀 NBA GOAT EditionSpin it, build it, sim the season.
How it works
- Pick your pool: Current stars or All-Time legends. They're separate leaderboards, too.
- Spin for each zone. The reel lands on a donor and their rating for that trait — Crosby's hockey IQ, a 98, wires into your player's brain.
- Three passes. You can reject a landing and spin again, three times total across the build. Spend them late, on your weakest zones — a pass on spin two is almost always wasted.
- The season sim turns your ten traits into a stat line and a grade.
- Save the build (signed in) to post it to the leaderboard — it also pays +10 points — and generate the poster.
The poster art
Each saved build gets one AI-generated poster — a fictional player in your donors' dominant team colors, in a packed arena. One poster per build, forever (it's part of the build's identity — re-rolling art would be re-rolling the player). Poster art for top leaderboard builds can be viewed by anyone signed in.
Tips that are actually true
The heavy zones win seasons. A forward with a 95 shot and 95 speed but 70s everywhere else scores like a first-liner; the reverse builds grade out mid. Protect your scoring traits with the passes.
Current vs All-Time is a real choice. The All-Time pool has higher ceilings; the Current board is easier to climb. Same skill, different meta.
Saved builds are your points engine. +10 per build adds up faster than you'd think, and every build is a fresh leaderboard entry — your best one counts, not your last one.
