About the 84-0 NHL challenge

84-0's NHL mode is a free browser game where you draft an all-time NHL roster one random draw at a time. Build an all-time NHL lineup from random team and decade draws, then simulate a full season and chase a perfect 84-0 record.

Each draw offers players from a random team and era, and you keep exactly one — build the strongest possible lineup, then watch the simulation play out. One loss ends the run, so a true 84-0 season is genuinely rare.

• Spend your skips early rather than hoarding them, keep roster slots flexible so a late superstar always has a home, and mind era adjustments — a dominant modern season usually beats bigger raw numbers from early eras.
