The boards
One nuance: season games and GM Mode feed every board window; Build-a-Player and Guess the Player points post to the all-time ledger and their own game boards.
The Rankings page runs Day, Week and Month boards per sport and overall, plus an all-time board. Weekly windows are rolling — the GM Mode "BEST GMs" standings on each game page show the last 7 days. Prize periods, when active, are governed by the Contest Rules.
Fair play
Every score is written server-side — the games can't be talked into points by a modified page. Submission rates are monitored, anomalous runs are flagged off the boards automatically, and daily modes are verified against the day's actual puzzle. If a board position looks impossible, it gets reviewed; flagged rows quietly stop counting.
